Neal Patel is the founding director of NV Accountants. He holds a Bachelor's in Business (Accounting), is a Chartered Accountant (India), a CPA Australia member, and a Registered Tax Agent. Prior to launching NV Accountants in 2018, Neal spent over 13 years working in various Business Services and Commerce roles across a diverse range of organisations.
Having worked his way up from a graduate in a suburban practice to a Business Services Manager at a well-known and respected second-tier firm, Neal brings a depth of technical knowledge combined with practical commercial acumen. His experience, qualifications, and commitment to continual professional development make him an ideal source of quality advice that comes on time and on budget.

Viraj Popatia is a CPA with over 10 years of dedicated experience in self-managed superannuation funds. She has worked extensively with high-net-worth clients and all kinds of funds — from straightforward accumulation funds through to complex pension and contribution structures requiring specialist strategic advice.
Viraj is able to provide expert advice and support across all areas of SMSF administration and compliance work, including TBAR lodgement, BAS preparation, and member benefit strategies. Her attention to detail and deep technical knowledge of superannuation legislation ensures that every fund she manages is fully compliant and strategically optimised.
